I think 2005 was the sweet spot. FB had only launched a year prior. Not really any other social media aside from forums a messenger. You had basic smart phones (PC phones) that had some apps/features on them. It was great.

To this day, I still only have a basic Galaxy phone (A01). No social media. Only browse/post on a few forums. I really only need a phone for calls, texting, GPS/Maps, Google to search and Email and to play music/podcasts. Same chit I did 16 years ago.
