Cliffs since I have NYT Subscription.

- NYC first city to require proof of vaccination in US
- Similar Programs in France and Italy
- Will phase in during August, Enforcement during mid-September
- City Workers need to be vaxxed or get tested, $100 to the public for getting vaxxed
- Encourages to wear masks, but not required, faced backlash for that comment
- "As part of the new program, New York City will create a health pass called the “Key to NYC Pass” to provide proof of vaccination required for workers and customers at indoor dining, gyms, entertainment and performances."
- Once France started the program, Millions of people booked vaccine appointments, and also started protests about civil liberties
- State Senator in COVID stricken area says "What we are doing isn't working, so unless you have other ideas, this is the governments only option
- Can still dine outdoors without proof, but to enter indoor venues, must have new state app Excelsior or Paper Vax Card.

So since they are private businesses they can make a policy such as no blacks allowed? You obviously don't understand that the courts have already decided that you can't actively discriminate against groups of people.

No idea but probably not. The Karenism and the amount of brainwashed nitwits enforcing the nonsense covid and cheering for forced vaccinations is baffling, just visit the NYC subreddit and be ready to cringe. TBH, the politics do get so bad that it makes it tough to even live a normal life now.

Ole Cumo doing whatever to take attention off of himself and passing this nonsense throughout the state as well as the city. I wonder what ole Billy boy has been up to now to where he has to pass this nonsense law.

Strong this. How the fuk would you enforce such a thing? Unless they have a means to internally stamp the cards (like dollar bills) good luck getting venues and public areas to comply.

Bill DiBlasio is doing this and it’s limited to NYC. Cuomo has nothing to do with this

Are these restaurant servers going to call people out for a fake Vax card? They’re already fukn pissed they have to do this in the first place. Just like when a bar is slammed they don’t ask for your ID, they ask if everyone here is over 21 and move on

The far majority of non-elderly adults already had Covid, whether they've been vaccinated or not. Over 100 million Americans already infected by the time vaccines were starting to get put in old people's arms. Over 200 million infected Americans by now. The long-term solution is accepting everyone is going to get the virus, and realizing it's still just old people dying from the coof.
