And you are right about the bomb/biggest splash too. It it just plain common sense to have that as well as the diving, and just imagine the athletes who would show up from around the world.

The other event would be the random decathlon. The competition starts with 10 sports being randomly chosen from the entire range of olympic sports. So each competitor might do:
marathon
10m diving
equestrian showjumping
pole vault
400m individual medley
10m air rifle
sailing
weightlifting
speed climbing
freestyle bmx

Or it could be 10 other random sports.

Whoever wins that is truly the greatest athlete in the world!

Plus some events would be funny af to watch
