The word "science" is now being misconstrued and twisted to fit a narrative that only pertains itself to the vaccine and not others things.

except they are winning and enacting policy and this vaccine requirement stuff is spreading rapidly. Once people have it in their head that unvaccinated people are literally killing millions of people its going to get really aggressive and really dangerous.

I agree, but there's really not much you can do about it, the media has already gassed everybody up, chit is already getting censored, etc. you're not gonna convince somebody over instagram and just create one big headache for yourself. best you can really do is go to your local politicians and elected officials in your area and call on them to do more to fight stuff like vaccine requirements, masks for children in schools, etc. the least is probably not giving your money to any businesses or people that support this clown world. let these *******s get upset at you for living your life while they panic in their basements, just lol

There are $25 dollar antibody tests available at most pharmacies. Most prior infected will still have enough antibodies to be seropositive. A negative doesn't mean someone wasn't infected of course. A T-cell test to be more precise doesn't require bone marrow, but also costs more.

My wife's 64 year old aunt, 70 year old uncle and 3 cousins are now positive with Delta in Mexico.

They are currently quarantining at home and purposely making food as awful as possible for jokes because they can't taste anything.

Sounds terrifying.

My sister works in a hospital as a med student (not with COVID patients) and she even believes that. As if she personally counted..

Apparently the CDC changed the reporting requirements for COVID and now, if someone is hospitalized due to COVID but they have the vaccine, they aren't counted as a COVID patient, which supports the 99% statistic..
Also the 30 million Americans who have only one shot but not both, they're "unvaccinated" here in the US. I've only seen a 1 or 2 out of many articles differentiate by mentioning a lot of hospitalized were partially vaccinated. Feels like collusion.

More fun: a lot of hospitalized Covid patients were admitted for something unrelated, then caught Covid while in the hospital. About 25% of cases in hospital were caught while in hospital BEFORE the more transmissible Delta variant came along. Before the Delta wave started hitting the UK months ago, they determined 8700 of their Covid 125K deaths were non-Covid patients that caught it while in the hospital and died from it.

I don’t understand that mentality. I thought the lockdowns were asinine, but I saw it as an opportunity since I’d be working from home and that would make it easier to lift and get the needed nutrition. I put on muscle, cut fat, and went up on my lifts. Also invested in building out a home gym.

I just don’t understand how some people have a lay down and rot mentality.

I’m not sure anyone is denying natural immunity. But even those who were infected previously can benefit by getting vaccinated.

Why would someone who has natural immunity, mess with that by getting the vaccine which would introduce the possibility of adverse reactions?
Because those with natural immunity, particularly those that were infected with a different variant, are still susceptible to reinfection. Vaccines can these people build a more robust humoral immune response and reduce the odds of reinfection. That said, I think it’s helpful but not nearly as important as vaccinating people who haven’t been infected.

No, on May 21, 2021 CDC announced they will only be tracking if fully vaxxed people are hospitalized...they do not count vaxxed people with positive tests who go home to isolate.

Gives very skewed numbers of the effectiveness of the vaccines when you don't count ALL positive tests.

Yep "science" just means what are the pharmaceutical corporations paying to have shown in studies. "Health" no longer involves diet and exercise as a key component, nevermind that the vast majority of people die from heart disease and cancer, it has instead become redefined by what drugs you take preemptively of any illness.

With less people being religious, science is the new religion. It's no longer about facts and exploration of the unknown, it's about which science you believe.
