The atmosphere is really something else and somewhat related to our daily life ( SRS).
You die over and over, restart and do the same **** over and over. You turn hollow as you become mentally unstable of doing the same **** over and over...hey that's life right.
NICE, I don't personally struggle with Dancer but she's considered one of the harder bosses. One of the cool things with these games is everyone has "that boss" they struggle with and it's different for everyone - I ALWAYS die to Crystal Sage who's supposed to be lol/10 difficulty, and I dunk on some of the harder bosses. You still have one more boss (Twin Princes) that's considered very hard between you and the final boss, but it shouldn't be too bad from here. The DLC is another story but it's meant to be the ultimate challenge.

I've been redoing DS3 on a no-shield no-summon run since the first time I killed NK and SNG was with a summon. Haven't set down to play in months but I'm at twin princes so just need to DLC and optional bosses pretty much. Doing all the DLC bosses solo no shield will be a huge challenge but can't imagine the rush I'll feel when I get them.

If you haven't played Bloodborne you should, it's the best Soulsborne game and in my top 5 all time.

Actually, a month ago I played Darksouls 3 and beat the game in about 35 hours and I thought it was easy as **** compared to Sekiro. I beat few bosses on first try, most of them i beat in 2-3 tries and the hardest ones i beat in about 5 tries. Compare that to Sekiro it took me 8 fukkin hours of constantly trying to beat Lady Butterfly because she was my first boss in that game and i went there when new and not knowing the mechanics well. The other hard one was the Father Owl (version that throws the owl which btw is optional FML) ...took me like 12 hours of constant trying and failing... All other bosses in sekiro maybe 1-2 hrs to beat.

First Fromsoftware game I played was Sekiro and i feel like Sekiro is a much harder and better game and also way more rewarding combat. Darksouls is all about rolling to get behind enemies and hitting them, while Sekiro imo actually takes skills and learning the boss movements, mastering parry and you feel like a god once you actually figure out the combat.

With Darksouls 3 i always felt like combat was cheap as roll is way too op for AI imo and also the amount of health, flasks, and how much they heal is way too much imo. With Darksouls you can farm to overlevel and fight bosses with Sekiro the only thiing you got is get gud.

I cant wait for Elden Ring to come out its the only game i am looking forward to and hyped for.

The twin princes are no joke brah. On my playthrough I was using FUME for the most part (think thats what its called, big ass sword)

Was thinkin of getting Bloodborne but dont have a PS4/5. I thought that I read that it's coming to PC at some point but not sure. It does look sick though I would love to play it.

Dark Souls 3 wasn't so bad for me. None of them really have been except for Sekiro which I'm playing now. I might drop that chit honestly

Fume Ultra Great Sword (FUGS) is the weapon from Fume Knight, probably the funnest boss in DS2. Cool they brought it back as fan service.

I got to the end of Sekiro but I did not enjoy the game. I have replayed 3, BB, and want to play 1 again, no desire to redo Sekiro.

They're all hard, but I found them fun hard. Sekiro was just a beatdown for me, but I kept at it because I am stubborn SOB.

Same. I first played Demon's Souls in 2009 and fell in love with the games. I just finished a replay of Dark Souls 2 and after I finished I decided to finally give Sekiro a shot. I'm not enjoying it at all honestly. It's like the game is begging you to find cheese strats. Also I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong with the mikiri counter. I do it perfect on the training guy every time but with other enemies I've only pulled it off once and tried it 50 times.

That was pretty much my experience. I never parry in any of the souls games (outside of occasionally fishing for them in Bloodborne) so a game basically designed around that being the main mechanic had me looking for other methods. Made it to the Guardian Ape and killed him and just stopped playing. I just lost all motivation to continue.

But parrying in Sekiro was made rather easy? i never parried in Darksouls but in Sekiro it felt very intuitive.

I never parry in dark souls but I got pretty good at it in bloodborne. The timing in Sekiro is very strange. To parry you need to block a lot sooner than you'd think. The character is super fast and has unlimited stamina but that katana must weigh 30 lbs cause it takes him forever to raise it. I do really like the stealth aspects of combat but when I'm fighting someone who knows I'm there it feels like the speed of BB with no stamina cost, a greatshield from DS3 and an overburdened fat roll from DS1

Dark Souls games aren't hard you just need to pay attention and don't panic. Ninja Gaiden Black is only for masochists with God like reaction times

Bought the game because of OP

40 hours in, level 56 and using great axe +6 Or claymore +5 mostly, able to get the dancer down to about 25%.

First time playing this style of game, took at least 10 hours to get past high wall and work out how the combat side of things.

Excellent game

I knew this kid, dumb as a rock, like his aptitude in every game was bottom rung and super low focus and always died in everything we did multiplayer or otherwise.

he beat all the souls games many times

literally every girl gamer who thinks they are edgy beat these games

anyone who unironically thinks these games are hard is goofy as hell

I have seen parts of that video. I wasn't going to watch the whole thing. That dude did have PERFECT timing though and appeared to know the game like the back of his hand.

Enough practise and it should be possible for any gamer with two hands.

I struggle like mad during the beginning of pretty much every SoulsBorne game, but after enough repetition something just “clicks” and it’s a breeze from that point forward, generally speaking.

Legit happens to me with each and every one.

I’m playing Dark Souls 3 right now and my experience is that the main game is a little on the easy side for anyone experienced with SoulsBorne games, but the difficulty ramps up massively with the DLCs.

It clicks because it’s ultimately a shallow and easy formula dressed up with excessive anti quality of life elements.

It’s no harder than Witcher 3 or Assasins creed combat. It will always just be dodge roll and parry and learning timings and cheese. Like those are always the same tools you have and it’s always the same paradigm. Over and over. That’s so basic. It’s no different ultimately than a classic PS3 time action sequence where you have to time a button press.

It’s ultimately no different or more complex than Parrapa the Rappa

Srs

Just timing a button press

Meanwhile an actually hard game like dota you have to master a whole universe of things and dynamics

But no, you think because you pressed a button at the right time during an animation of a scary CGI entity it’s hard

Just lol

Go fuk yourself you pseudo intellectual ****. Witcher 3 and Assasins Creed have utter dog ****e gameplay, so they’re lame comparisons.
