In California you can use the religious exemption, however, it is up to the school individually to decide how much, if at all, they will scrutinize the claimed exemption. Some Universities are requiring nothing more than you checking a box online and the possibility of weekly covid testing, but there are others which are requiring a detailed essay about your faith and specific references to scripture or custom that the vaccine goes against, as well as a clergymen writing a letter too.

The GOP (spineless RINOs) once again dropped the ball on this. When state legislatures were in session, they had a chance to pass some laws to prevent this kind of bullchit. They punted. i got the j&j when it was available a number of months ago, i felt like the sides were basically nonexistent except for a touch of brain fog for a couple days

felt more comfortable with the 1 dose and done traditional vaccine than i did with the mrna stuff in the others

maybe it's less effective, who cares honestly. if you need it, you need it

I honestly don't care if it's effective, I just don't want to quit now after all I've done already. My school uses an online portal that students have to scan their vax card into, and they're reserving the right to decide whether they'll honor an individual's religious (need to provide written statement) or medical exemption.

I've stalled on this all summer because I could honestly make a career out of my current job if i want to, but I'm just not sure it's what I wanna do for the next 30-35 years.

you've got a lot of time invested into the course so i would suggest finishing it, if that means you need the shot, you need it imo. i wouldn't want to juggle exemptions and chit every time i wanted to travel or go to the doctor personally

i'm not with all the conspiracy theory chit on this but i also only put things that i deem necessary into my body and i think making an educated decision on which vaccine you choose is making the best of the situation. maybe that makes me an NWO shill or whatever to some of these guys, i don't really care

Registered Nurse program. I'm a tradie now (gas/electric utilities) and actually like what I do but, also kinda feel like I owe it to myself to finish what I started. Got years of EMS experience that I always meant to expand on which is why I started down this path in the first place. But i am worried about side effects, being forced to take endless boosters and I don't believe they are being transparent with people about the risks involved. And I don't like being told what to do more than anything else.
