I've spoken to a few guys who pointed this out. They never really knew what side the soldiers were really on, its not like background checks will be reliable. They pretend they want to join up, they get trained and learn tactics then they disappear.

Can't imagine how troops that served over there, lost brahs, or got injured to take control of those areas feel seeing this happen. About the only positive thing anyone seems to pull out from this long conflict to justify it as not being a failure is a lot of girls managed to an education.

I got some Liberal friends who are trying to blame Trump for this mess saying that he was the one who wanted to pull out troops.
I was like, ok fine, but why did Biden have to comply? He revoked every other Trump policy. He could have said he didn't agree with Trump and kept troops in Afghanistan or reinforced them etc.

The Taliban have yet to sponsor any terrorist attack outside of their war front. They are more of a political org than a terrorist group. They actually don’t cut off the heads of any journalist they catch like ISIS. On top of that, they have zero advantages in attacking other states. The Taliban simply want to run Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan. They also didn’t have anything to do with 9/11, it was Osama who crashed in their state and kinda got them into deep ****. Taliban have already stated that they have no interest in fighting foreign wars anymore.

They are crazy too but they are nowhere near the savagery of ISIS. ISIS is on the other hand is a straight up death cult with no strings attached. The Taliban don’t give a fuk about conquering the West. They just want A-Stan to be their turf.

interedesting... so this guy says U.S got A-O-K from Taliban that they would not destroy the oil pipeline so the US withdrew with no fuks given as long as its pipeline is in the area. And the pipeline was specifically to stop Russias influence in the area.

He also says the US military is completely impotent now. They cannot fight anyone because the country is divided and you cannot get support unlike Iraq Bush/Rumsfeld 90% approval post 911.
