The starting wage for McDonald’s is $14.25 in my city because unskilled plebes are still like kings off of unemployment and don’t want to work.

If wages are $14.25 then you’re gonna pay $14.25 wages for food until they get on their game for automation/amazonification

Haven’t ate fast food in years, don’t miss it either. Fuark, I now feed my whole family for a week on what it would cost to eat fast food a couple times.

I paid fukking $7.37 for 2 sausage burritos, a hash brown, and a Diet Coke.

Never going back to McDonald’s again, srs.

Also add Panda to that list, spent like $14 on a small disgusting meal.

It’s becoming more and more common for casual purchasers on the higher end of the spectrum who occasionally get a quick meal at fast food to start flat out avoiding it all together.

Quality and portions are smaller, prices don’t match either when compared to grocery prices. Chicken breast is still $1.99 per lb at the grocery store, it’s not the commodity prices causing inflation, it’s the unskilled labor force wage inflation. I refuse to go to chipotle ever again as well due to their prices and small portions. If you’re gonna fuk us on the price because they’re paying $16 an hour then at least bring back bigger portions. The extra rice, beans, chicken, etc. they’ve been skimping us on to increase margins the past years should be reversed.

If I want fast food I just order from a chain restaurant and pick it up. Much better quality and very little difference in price. Also much better customer service for the most part. Engaged to a sushi chef so she also brings home banging food.

Ordered it from Uber Eats and only the burger and fries and with delivery and tip it was like $25. Same I'd pay at any regular restaurant for an entree delivered.

Still, Five Guys is the GOAT fast food.

With the exception of Taco Bell like once every six weeks, I've pretty much cut fast food from my diet entirely. It's a great feeling, and I don't miss it at all.

I went to Wendy's a couple weeks ago, and a baconator was $7 plus tax....Just the baconator! Before fries, and a drink.

I mostly use coupons if I ever get fast food. Funny enough Wendy's has some good coupons I always use the buy one baconator get one free coupon.

Yeah I try not to eat out so much because almost every place is jacking up the price of their sandwiches, burgers, fries, drinks.

McDonalds is still the cheapest with their value menu. Only a few dollars for a mcdouble, spicy chicken and medium fries. Taco Bell can be cheap if you just pick a bunch of small items. Same with places like Jack In The Box, quantity over quality for cheap.
