I read 3-4 books at once. So I've finished a few this month.

I finished Limitless by Jim Kwik today though which was my most recent.

I liked it, the last few chapters on speed reading and memory exercises were pretty cool to play around with.
Has a good book list at the end of what he suggests, I've already read a lot of them but will try some of his lists.
It also talks about being active and passive with your study and encourages note-taking (makes you do it) during the book. So if you read a lot of non-fiction and don't take notes this is a pretty good way to start.

The book has definitely got me interested in learning more about memory training and speed reading (as long as I don't lose comprehension).

You should check out Huxley's "Island". It's an inversion of Brave New World where the same ideas, tweaked subtly, lead to a utopia instead of a dystopia. It's not as good as BNW but a good read and very short.

Was very engaging and fast moving at first. Kind of got bogged down in the middle, but I pushed on and did finish it. Plays with the idea of the Mandela Effect, branching multiple realities, synchronicity, and determinism vs. free will a bit too.

Not trying to hijack OP's excellent thread, but has anyone ITT readThe Outer Limits of Reason: What Science and Mathematics Cannot Teach Usby Nosan Yanofsky?

My buddy lent it to me and I've glanced through it a few times (just some out of context chapters here and there because it doesn't really require being read like a novel cover to cover). Frankly the material is so phuckin' dense it would probably burn me out trying to read it like that.

Very interesting stuff about what we know, how we know it, I believe the word in soft science philosophy speak is "epistemology", anyway I think it would play well with this crowd based on some of the stuff people are putting up.
