Lol I remember this story. The whole thing is basically Los Angeles elites in a nutshell. Out of touch elites blowing mega-fortunes on stupid chit that nobody besides themselves could possibly desire, and then they wonder why they lose everything. It's all about pumping up that image of success, only in Los Angeles could you find something this excessive.
