Other than BF2042 which will probably be playable until 2022 (broken on release this year?) and Elden Ring next year... There's nothing interesting for me this year either and I got a PS5, I got a backlog of PS4 games but don't feel like getting into them much.

I got Mortal Shell to pass the time but I find it kinda dull and boring.. I wanna give it a chance but it's lacking in some areas and can't get a good grip on it.

I’ve mostly been playing classic games, and enjoying it so much. Once in awhile I’ll play a shooter with friends, but mostly snes rpgs and some old platformers

Would love a Warcraft 4 it's so simple add the Xel Naga Race. Then do a Starcraft 3 RTS new maps. I am a die hard Blizzard fan with thousands of hours logged into their RTS games and Diablo Series.

Blizzard doesn't care about RTS anymore they just wanna do World of Warcraft 7000+ and the best copy of Fortnite, Cuck Of Duty, Beta Royale. Complete sell outs, it's just about how fast you can cash grab with digital skins, items, and DLCs. They are just fleecing these potato-brain beta manlets for every dime they have.

This whole new gaming generation is extremely soy and fruity.

Good news is Alot of the original Blizzard team members left and are working on a new RTS!

We need a new Counter-Strike!

Yeah the industry has changed. Feels like it went super-mainstream in the PS4/One gen, I mean you could see things shifting in that direction during the PS3/360 gen, but the past decade really doubled down on all the online consumer exploitation.

What you said about Blizzard is pretty much how it's been for most of the big developers. The original talent that made those names what they are have left, and now those companies are full of diversity hires or the type of people who were interns. Explains why they have become so creatively bankrupt.

Honestly I think the only thing that'll keep me interested is when Lost Ark finally gets that NA release.
something happens once you become focused on your career and life. Video games don't seem worth the time unless they're top tier or sentimental.

I know it's not the best RTS out there but if you're looking for a new RTS, have you tried Halo Wars 2? You can still find matches pretty easily.

For me strategy genre have been my #1 time sinker. My most played games have all been in that genre. Except 1 game. Rimworld.

Sinking so much time into Total War Warhammer 2 and it will be the same when 3 comes.

Kind of why I love GamePass, pretty much gives me all the AAA Microsoft Titles, but moreso, gives me the access to tons of smaller indie games/lesser known games that can be pretty cool. Like I'll get Halo Infinite, Forza, and Starfield, but I'll also get some other small scale games with great stories and okay graphics.

Maybe because there are so much trash releases and devs trying to cater for everyone at the same time. There are still great games out there though.

my past job gave us 2 weeks off for Christmas. Installed Divinity Sin 2 first day off and proceeded to put 60 hrs. into it over like 1 week srs. Game was addicting as hell.

Waiting for full release of Baldur's Gate 3 (not playing that early release ****) and will probably do the same for that game.

What systems do you play on anyway?

If Xbox, play Psychonauts 2 while maybe 1-2 games downloaded to play in between it. For me that is Doom, Shadow of Mordor. While getting hyped over forza ho 5 and halo 6.

If switch, play Metroid dread + a good mp title which there are very hot ones like splatoon, smash, Mario kart and soon Mario party superstars which we’ll see what becomes of that later this month.

If Ps5, I don’t know what to tell you.

If pc, see above ha lol.

Oculus quest, resident evil 4 which I’m dusting off one of mine to play that one.

Same. I play WC3 4v4 and now I'm waiting for fresh vanilla WoW that should be coming out here soon.

Going nuts waiting. I can't get into new age games. Bro wants me to get far cry and play with him and our buddy but sounds like chit.
