personally lake house in the fingerlakes in NY is my type of vaca.
breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants populating most lakes.
fire lake side at night.

fall foliage and crisp nights are the norm right now.

gets cold AF in the winter though.

This place has easily one of the best food scenes in the world, and I've been to basically every big city in the world that can make that claim. Sean Brock is the GOAT. His restaurants are undeniably amazing. Downtown Charleston is walkable, has GREAT restaurants, great bars(The Gin Joint for a classy vibe, Vendue Rooftop Bar for a touristy but casual vibe with great views, The Griffin for dive vibe), and walking around there is such an amazing relaxed vibe.

You can also drive down to Folly Beach if you want the walk along the beach, but still have amazing beach bars/restaurants in your vicinity.

Fuking love Charleston.

Airbnb places are from $400-$1500 for the weekend.
depends on the place and location.

last winter we got a place with a hot tub for $550 with friends.
off the lake and small. but it served its purpose.
hit up some breweries and restaurants then went back to drink what we bought at the breweries, play cards then hot tub.

+1 for Savannah, Georgia but the entire Atlantic Coast is gorgeous.

Also national parks for sure. I was in Glacier National Park last month in Montana. Amazing.

South Beach, Miami
Sonoma Good food, great wine less expensive than Napa
I used to love SF, but liberals and mentally ill people have ruined it. Last time I was there, it smelled like, chit, piss, weed and forest fires.
I love Manhattan, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's great.
Newport, RI is awesome.

Agree 100%, although KW can be a little too touristy. I prefer Islamorada.

I can help you plan.

Step 1: If you want to see Myrtle cause you want to see Myrtle that is fine, but limit your time there and spend more time in Murrells Inlet or Pawleys Island.

Step 2: Eat at Franks in Pawleys
