Good "Vacation" Spots in the US?

Any recommendations? was thinking San Fran until I realized that would require me wearing a face diaper all day.

And no I don't mean a place to hike for 50 miles. Thanks misc

go to South Beach Miami. stay at the South Seas Hotel at 1751 Collins Avenue. no car necessary. you can walk everywhere - pool, beach, bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. just Uber to and from the airport.

South Carolina/Florida are decent areas that have water everywhere and the weather is good.

what general city/state are you coming from? that would be a factor for me. distance. travel time and jet lag.

Charleston is highly walkable, probably the best restaurants in the southern US (New Orleans has an argument there too, but you ain't going there), tons of outdoor places to get drinks and food on the water. Also boat tours/rides, rent a boat, fun stuff like ghost and graveyard tours, etc...check it out.

Love gulf coast Florida too. Tampa/Sarasota/gulf coast keys/etc

downtown San Fran is cool but i was disappointed in the lack of HBBs. maybe it's gotten better or worse since i was there.

i remember being in a bar and the talent was really sparse and i turned to some kid in his 20s and was like - "yo, it's all dudes in here, WTF?" he turned to me and said - "welcome to planet Earth."

i thought that was a great line.

Guess I should’ve mentioned in the OP that I’m originally from CA, specifically the Santa Monica area so I’m good. I’ll also be there this weekend so I’m looking for something a tad different.

The consensus ITT sounds like Florida.


You were spot on about the lack of hotties in SF though. Disappointing every time. I’ve got a +1 though so it’s probably in my best interest that I’m not surrounded by hot women everywhere

SF has been nicknamed Man Francisco by a lot of people lol. It's a sausage fest down there and it's a terrible city in general.
