Nate Campbell turned pro at 29 years old. He had no real amateur background he was just a top slap boxer during his grocery store job, he said they would slap box during breaks and they told him to try boxing because he had catlike reflexes he became a world champion in boxing unified lightweight champion.

25 still relatively young, you could even still turn pro at some point soon and be on your prime-ish.

Like Mr. Inf said above, it's tough to be 30 something and washed...specially if you never got to see your full potential.

I know damn well that itch that boxing brings especially when you actually have an act for it.

I also sopped boxing for years and recently went to a local boxing gym, did some sparring as well.

What I realized unfortunately is that I'm too old for it. I'm 32 now.

My body is too broken down from all the years of pounding from different sports, lifting and especially boxing. Joints, bones, all fuked up. I couldn't do shiet, I sucked too much for my standards, it was like my mind was seeing something that it used to do in the past but my body just couldn't do it or react to it. I realize I would suck after years of not doing hard sparring, but it was something else. Felt really old in there.

Even tho I miss that Godlike feeling boxing used to give me, I just can not justify putting my body thro all that pounding again, especially in this time and age of my life.

All that to say, go for it while you still can and have to age for it, because old age really does creep in like a modafuker, and suddenly its too late.

Best of luck brother, work hard.
Thank you, and yeah I understand why you wouldn’t want to put your body through the punishment when you are over 30 years old. Some people’s bodies take more punishment than others.

Yeah, especially considering I boxed for years when I was younger. It’s not like I am just putting on a pair of gloves for the first time at 25. I will see where I can take this.
