Sure I can blame a childhood back in China where my grandfather physically abused me to comfort my efforts and lack of distinction, but the truth is I made my choices and can blame no one else but myself

Terry, every morning you wake up and decide who you will be for the rest of your life.
Tomorrow try for something different.

Easiest thing you can do is start improving your diet.... once you do that it will start a snowball effect...more energy, more confidence, gains, etc. Once you have momentum, implement other things such as focusing on ways to make money. Find something you are passionate about that can make you money. Starting a business that i actually enjoyed doing elevated my life to new heights. Once you have a steady stream of cash, learn how to invest. If you are awake, you should be listening to books, podcasts, etc that ADD VALUE to your life. I listen to books every single day on my way in and out of work, as well as when i work out. Also business podcasts are a great resource. Once you have some cashflow, figure out how to market yourself better. Start going to young professionals meetings, rub elbows with people your own age who have goals and passions. STOP BEING A VICTIM AND GET TO WORK P H A G G O T. You are 31 and in perfectly good health with a roof over your head and food on your table. You're already in the top 10% of the world. STOP MAKING EXCUSES. No one feels bad for you dude...stop feeling bad for yourself and get after it.
