There's a good reason why the pics sloots use for their profiles and dating are always blurry and of chit quality, and it isn't because their cameras suck. That's just how it looks after you use loads of filters and try to edit everything.

If they are going to be handling live firearms or real firearms, which they shouldn’t, then they should be required to receive training on safe weapons handling and each person should then be held accountable for accidents like this.

Wait but she's right tho. She was incompetent and had multiple different jobs and the producers still made her do this as well.

Blame should definitely be on them too.

Because the use of guns in movies isn't the same as in real life.

In movies there's generally a procedure where the armorer checks the gun, then gives it to the assistant director who then checks it again and passes it to the actor. Onus isn't on the actor to check it a third time.

Blame whoever you like, but one thing cannot be denied: Alec Baldwin murdered someone.

If that's the process for Hollywood, it's the wrong process.

For all of us plebs who are not part of Hollywood and have firearms, the basic rules of firearm safety is first thing we learn and is ingrained in our brains.

Even during a demonstration, which can be argued to be same as an acting scene, the person doing the demo always clears the weapon. Why can't actors do the same, or are expected to do the same?

Murder doesn't have to be premeditated dumb dumb, that is literally just a specific form of murder. There is loads of other murder charges out there and no shortage of people who have been convicted of murders they didn't premeditate.

Because the rules you follow for basic firearm safety are broken when it comes to acting/movies and that's accepted. Therefore, they need to have their own special policies set in place for their niche scenario.

I'm not even an Americel nor do I own a gun but can you tell me the 4 rules of firearm safety?

Every single definition of murder imples premeditation. If there's no premeditation there are different words for it.
Don't argue on this, you're making yourself look stupid. Stick to console debates.

edit, correction: I was thinking INTENT not necessarily premeditation here my bad.

Clearly you have never been educated on legal definitions. Murder trials for accidental/unintentional deaths are a common event.

They were practicing a scene but many times there would be someone behind the camera to record just for reasons. Whether they want to use the actual footage or show others how the scene will look so they can make adjustments.

I lose IQ by responding to you. Now I know how mtfhgsp feels

Manslaughter involves the killing of another person, but it's distinct from the crime of murder.

Manslaughter is an unlawful killing that doesn't involve malice aforethought—intent to seriously harm or kill or an extreme, reckless disregard for life. The absence of malice aforethought means that manslaughter involves less moral blame than either first- or second-degree murder. (But plenty argue that some instances of felony murder, a form of first-degree murder, involve less blameworthiness than some instances of manslaughter.) Thus, while manslaughter is a serious crime, the punishment for it is generally less than that for murder.

In Ameribrah law, there's

-first degree murder (intentional and premeditated)
-second degree murder (intentional but spur of the moment)
-manslaughter (unintentional and spur of the moment, but negligent/reckless).

You two have a lot in common, both of you are way too confident in your ignorance.

You can murder someone without it being premeditated, premeditated murder is a specific charge for murder and the harshest one due to it's intentional nature. That said there are cases such as aggravated assault which can lead to murder which is a murder charge and not manslaughter as it's an aggravated offense.

You should really leave law up to people who understand it.

Yes, I was thinking of intent when I highlighted premeditation, it was my error.

This guide is supposed to be industry best practice I’m told:

http://www.csatf.org/production-affa...ety-bulletins/

These are the first 4 points:

"1. Refrain from pointing a firearm at anyone, including yourself. If it is absolutely
necessary to do so on camera, consult the Property Master (or, in his/her
absence, the weapons handler and/or other appropriate personnel
determined by the locality or the needs of the production) or other safety
representative, such as the First A.D./Stage Manager. Remember that any object
at which you point a firearm could be destroyed.
2. NEVER place your finger on the trigger until you're ready to shoot. Keep
your finger alongside the firearm and off the trigger.
3. KNOW where and what your intended target is.
4. DO NOT engage in horseplay with any firearms. "

A fair bit of evidence already circulating that Baldwin has broken all 4 of those.

Imagine being the therapist who talked Alec Baldwin out of committing suicide back in 2009 only to see that he ended up killing someone else.

There was zero intent to harm the victim. It was an accidental misfire. There is absolutely no possible way the word "murder" should be used in this scenario. Stfu.
