great white or some other beta species ?
I want to book a trip to Guadalupe Isle to go cage diving with great whites. just haven't done it yet because the whole trip takes almost 10 days or something. its not expensive if you live in SoCal and it would be pretty awesome.

as a little kid growing up near the beach, I used to swim in the atlantic ocean damn near every day. I was practically a fish I could swim so well. I remember being around 10 or 11 years old and swimming far away from shore, where all the people were, maybe 300 yards off shore, and then I would swim back to shore like nothing happened. I remember you could tell how deep the waters were, when your legs could feel a temperature change, and the water got much colder. That's when you knew you were swimming on top of the deep.
As an adult? I shake my head at the **** I used to do and would never do it again now. I know too much about the ocean, and I legit fear sharks now. I still love the ocean, but legit I won't even consider going 30 yards into the ocean away from shore. I'll only stay near the shore and that's it.
People say sharks don't like humans, but those *******s "bite" when they are curious. If I can't see what's under me in the ocean, I'm not going.
As a kid, I had no fear of the ocean.
As an adult, the ocean creeps me the F out

I grew up swimming in Destin for vacation, and have been to multiple islands never scared. No way in hell I’m getting in the water in California, South Africa, or Australia. Even Australian jelly fish can kill you. Fk beaches like that.

I worked with a girl who was close friends as a kid who is the only fatality in Destin/Miramar history. Story was she was about 300 yards out boogey boarding when a surfer saw a shark and yelled at them to get out. A bull shark basically tried to eat her alive. The surfer punched the **** out of it until it let go, got her on the board and paddled back. Said the shark chased him all the way until about 15 ft to shore. He and another rescuer took turns punching it away. It was either dedicated to eating her or really pissed and filled with that bullshark testosterone they talk about.
