it never was normal, even punishable...and no one came out. Doesn't mean they weren't gay...just they didn't come out.

Now that it is normal, I wonder how many more actual gay people there are?

Since no one came out back then, its impossible to know, but one thing is for sure, it is becoming more prevalent.

It absolutely is mentioned in the New Testament (indirectly). Jesus tells us to love our neighbors as much as ourselves, and the the parable of the good Samaritan tells us that EVERYONE is our neighbor.
