Back in the day, the gas stations used to be full-serve, and that was a great first job for people. Then the cuckservative "free market" shills took that away with self-serve stations. When I leave the cart, I help to reverse that bad decision. Our youth need entry level jobs and I work to support them.
Bullchit. Absolute bullchit. They still have to send someone out to collect them. But if they are in a cart corral they aren't taking up parking spaces or getting blown/pushed into people's vehicles.

A business built those Costco cart corals. If I don't use it, they lose their job making cart corals, so I put it where it belongs. People who don't return their cart are likely trashy and lazy and don't care about the cart coral manufacturer.

The fact pumping gas and collecting carts are/were even jobs says a lot. Although their job is to bring the carts in, not collect them. Maybe they shouldn't provide you with a cart, that's your job.
