GoT is probably the biggest go to answer here. Was solid back when they had enough reference material and dialogue in the early seasons
then it turned in to 'minor dialogue, just neough to set up the next action sequence and a retarded ending'
Early Walking Dead was good then..yeah
Lost - might actually re-watch as its been a long while, but i recall the later seasons being blatantly 'writers you're clearly just winging it now'....and late rit came out that they actualy were. They had no direction and were just trying to write the most mind-fuk stuff they could.

Dexter fell off hard after season 4.
GOT writing got retarded once they were off the books.
Also no one is mentioning Black Mirror - first two seasons had a lot of amazing ideas, then they just ran flat as ****.

Prison break
Always sunny
“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn
"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

It's always sunny in Philadelphia.
Season 13. Granted they had 11-12 good seasons, 13 fell off hard once they started trying to make statements.
Agree with dexter after the trinity killer but I did enjoy the Hannah season. I still watch dexter yearly but I do get disappointed halfway through.
The reboot has been great, though.

Later seasons have their moments, but the show was definitely the best when cartman was just a simple agitated fat kid.
Quit watching after season 12. I've only seen random bits on youtube and some one off episodes here and there since then. They've definitely had some more amazing moments in later seasons, but a lot of it just got stupid to me. For example, that plotline where they had the origin of covid be from Randy Marsh and Mickey Mouse fukking a bat together at tater bar in China or some chit, and actually showing a scene of it. I mean, I can handle all kinds of non-PC South Park style humor, but chit like that is just gets a basic "w.tf" type reaction from me, and is off-putting.
Or the storyline of Randy owning an mj farm and incorperating it as a regular part of the show. Crap like that was sometimes funny when they had it be a stand alone one episode type deal, but it gets stupid quick to me when they drag gags like that out like they do these days.

Westworld
Love the old movie. Liked Season 1. Couldn't get through Season 3.
V
Started off as lizard aliens slowly taking over the world in brilliant fashion (propaganda, police state, scapegoating scientists and skeptics, collaborators, etc) and then the resistance movement trying to convince the world what was up. Also had some cool by 80's standards battle scenes.
Ended up as some cheezy Dynasty clone relying on out of place stock battle footage.
Never bothered watching the failed reboot from a few years ago. Was supposedly worse than the previous series.

Now, it's already been nearly 15 years since the movie came out. It's weird to think that in just a couple years, the movie will be in the middle of that show's run. Hell, I still remember a newspaper article from the early 2000's with a picture of Homer standing on a scale holding his gut at 300 lbs in celebration of the show hitting 300 episodes at the time.
