Nearly 10% of all babies born in America(totaling more than the births of 49 individual States) are born to an illegal. You think those bills are being paid? So you better charge for everything under the sun once you have someone/insurance on the hook.

I witnessed two c sections and it’s amazing how fast they can do it. The Dr. was at home they called him in and he did it in like 20 minutes, imagine how much he got paid for that. He was talking about a Switzerland vacation with me while doing it.

I would not get a woman pregnant on US soil unless I was physically raped and detained to prevent me from performing a first party abortion.

This makes me want to pull out the insurance paperwork for my c-section. I want to say it was $35k in total, of which I paid $500 copay.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see crazy charges for something like that.

So everyone in all the UK just likes having fuked up teeth? I doubt it.

Would rather pay $1600 to birth a kid in America than some other banana republic for free.
The USA ranks 33 out of 36 OECD nations for infant mortality and has nearly the highest rate of maternal mortality among high income countries.
It is also the only industrialised nation where maternal mortality is rising.

https://data.oecd.org/healthstat/inf...lity-rates.htm
The United States and Canada are two countries which register a much higher proportion of babies weighing less than 500g, with low odds of survival, resulting in higher reported infant mortality. In Europe, several countries apply a minimum gestational age of 22 weeks (or a birth weight threshold of 500g) for babies to be registered as live births. This indicator is measured in terms of deaths per 1 000 live births.

It's easy to have a low infant mortality rate when you place arbitrary constraints on what you define an infant to be.

Interdasting, wonder if I can get that at Costco and save with my executive membership.

I need to tell these hospitals if I ever have a kid, that I need my discount applied since I am a AAA member.

$1600 isn't even that bad, far cheaper than whatever taxes they steal from you for "free" healthcare

just search "benefits of vaginal birth" on yandex:https://yandex.com/search/?text=bene...birth&lr=20961

all kinds of beneficial bacteria in the vagina that a human child is supposed to be coated with, the mother's body doesn't even often know it has given birth after a c-section, breast feeding problems, I mean when you do something as unnatural as a c-section there are gonna be serious repercussions.

but yes, her little goo hole will tend to be less impacted by a c-section, as if that's even a fukking consideration when you're talking about creating and birthing a new human being.

you can look up all the downsides of a c-section. and yes, occasionally they are medically necessary. but with liability concerns, hospitals and their cocksucking "doctors" are way, wayyyy too trigger happy to cut women open at the smallest inconvenience. it's disgusting.

very sad. sounds like incompetent doctors tbh, and probably an older couple - age can lead to lots of complications, especially for a first time birth when the woman's body is not yet sure exactly how to handle the situation.
