One of the great things about parenthood is when you get to see your children become young adults. Like I said, I set the bar pretty high and my daughter grew up with a very strong male figure in her life. But one that ALWAYS puts my wife first. Raising a daughter is a lot of responsibility and I make sure that my daughter understands 'boys'. We talk pretty openly about most everything. Drugs, sex..etc.

One very important thing I explained to my daughter from a age where I know she knew what it was. Porn is not real. The way women are portrayed in porn, where they are just servants to the man, is not healthy. I hope my daughter has a very healthy sex life with the self respect to want to be treated with respect. I love my daughter dearly, and she is very strong willed as to what she wants out of life. She is a great combination of me and her mother.

Some things in life are worth it. Long after I am dead, I am sure my son will still tell the story to his own grandchildren how I took him out of school, drove across state line and at 14 told him to get in and drive us to the track so you could get used to the car. Then let him drive all day at the track. One of the best experiences of my life!

We did 5 track days last year. We switched over to a lotus for our track car (actually went through 2 of them) , which my son has learned to drive stick in. We ended the season just before thanksgiving at Virginia International Raceway. He drove the full grand course. Not many kids his age get to experience these kinds of things. You have no idea how awesome it feel to share these experiences with my son.

Yep, I posted a vid of her ATG 135 squatting at 108lbs. I was mad that she did it, but proud of her. I got her a set of bumpers and she has been playing with oly lifting. Very fun to share common passions with your kids!
