Plus it's 27 below zero today, so not growing chit.
Fish though are accessible all the time, so are deer, bear, ducks and other stuff.

It cost me 5.00.
My buddy gave me a Bradley with a burned out element. Got a thrift store electric hot plate for 5 bucks, made a heat guard out of flashing and use a stainless steel dog bowl to hold the wood chips.
Wood chips are flood killed alder I harvested locally.
I can adjust the heat up and down with the dial on the hot plate
Works shockingly well for 5.00.

You brine it at all? I highly reccomend 24 hour brine of brown sugar lots of salt & pepper & lemon zest.
Than in the last 30 mins of smoke do a light apricot Jam glaze.
Either way man, looks tasty.

Walleye are able to be smoked, but are a bit more tricky to do well. I had some that tasted awful, and I prefer walleye baked or deep fried.
Greasy fish smoke better.
