I bet, we do it down south all the time. Trout and catfish (cant smoke catfish long or it gets gross).

We tear it up......we smoke oysters too.....

We dont have many of the big catfish here...but we have the little brown bullheads. A buddy of mine got into them and caught a mess of them...

Smoked them and they were amazing.

Could only imagine the big ol catfish you guys have.

Incredible amounts of cisco and alewives. Had tons of bait on the graph the past while.

Last weekend I limited on Lake trout, Pike, and Walleye.

12 fillets.

Next day my wife tells me there was no meat at the grocery store.
