I watch a lot of movies and I'd say Drive was pretty forgettable to me.

Place Beyond the Pines, now that was a good Gosling movie.

Latest girl I'm dating watched Casino Royale with me, actually liked it. Keeper? She wants to watch Quantum of Solace next.

I love Place Beyond The Pines, at least the first hour. It’s a good sign if a girl is into James Bond. The girl I’m seeing said she isn’t into those kind of movies and it was disappointing.

Casino Royale is my fave Bond film but QoS is meh.

Marc Forster (Director) was going for Bourne style which is fine but you can tell the movie was def affected by the writers strike because the screenplay just seems like it's just there. The screenplay itself isn't fleshed out. A Bond revenge story could be so much better.

What do people like about the movie so much?

It’s about some cuck who wants to raise a criminals kid. Capable of so much more but works in a garage for min wage.

The sound is off, they do everything so slow, always talk like they’re whispering and unenthusiastic. Looks like a kid trying to be cool 24/7, just not how people behave.

Overall, I rate is 6.5/10. Not bad, but direction style was very off putting imo.

Yeah QoS is my least fav, but still better than most action movies.
