Ending on a big note I see...

The 48 mario kart course are a big announcement.
The fire emblem spinoff probably isnt for me (since it isnt a mainline typical fire emblem), but it will do very well.
Plus the other games from now until summerish that were previously announced. They got a pretty consistent schedule of first party releases through summer.
Might just not be games you are into.

Figured this would just be a relatively minor announcement show.

Mario Strikers and the Wii Sports look pretty cool and fun party games
lol @ mario kart courses, i get it it's cool but instead of still using a port in 2022 why not release a new one
Earthbound is probably the best news i like from this direct, didn't expect this to happen anytime soon, but i've always wanted to properly play this title. Also the OG one with Ninten, that's pretty cool.
Remember playing Mother 3 back in 2008 with Lucas, dark game but really good

They are definitely saving MK9 for the switch successor, whenever that may be.

Wii Sports is definitely my sorta thing though, it's always been a go-to for me when I just want to play some multiplayer with someone who doesn't really play video games, and Wii Bowling has always been a chill/relaxing game for me. I got the Wii U remaster but I would still consider it an essential thing to have on the Switch.
That and Advance Wars has been the GOAT turn based strategy game for me since it originally released, so I have been really looking forward to the remake.

I'm honestly not expecting the Switch successor until Spring 2025 at this point, srs. Selling too well, lots of first party games this year, mario kart dlc through end of 2023....
also, it's actually been 15 years since the last Mario Strikers. fuark
