I’m trying to stay as upright as possible and put as much load on my quads as possible. I use the safety bar because it’s comfortable to do and doing so in this manner places much more load on the quads than a back squat
I work my back on BACK DAY. Why on earth would I want my back to be a limiting factor while trying to grow quads.

Although in my experience, I'd disagree that it targets the quads more than a straight bar.

Elitefts makes the best SSB (SS Yoke bar). You can load it right up and the padding keeps the bar from killing you.
Rogue's bar is OK. The padding is so thin, anything over 4 plates is going to wreck your shoulders.
The Marrs bar is totally different and a much easier bar to squat with. Takes a bit to get used to it.
All good bars if you want to work on staying more upright when you squat.

Fellow titan fitness SSB owner. Really like it for a change of pace. Usually alternate one day low bar and one day SSB. Funny to me, I squatted for years with just the standard bar so it is actually far more comfortable to me, but I'm improving with the SSB.
