reading a book vs listening to the audio or reading an electronic version are just 3 different ways to absorb the information. people are different and have different preferences to how they choose to absorb that information. it's subjetive, there is no "best" way, there's too many variables for that

Listening you won’t be able to retain or build as much knowledge compared to reading srs

I saw a physical storefront Amazon bookstore in the La Jolla mall last week. No one knows how bad of an idea physical bookstores are more than Jeff Bezos. Putting up his own is just the ultimate flex.

Last time I went to a Barnes n noble i saw a "childrens" section and it was full of the most ridiculous chit. Tranny baby stuff, Pride for children, BLM crap. it was so bad in fact that i grabbed a stack of about 7 books and tossed them into the trash that was in the store. (srs) almost 2 years ago now

I'm pretty out of the loop when books come out, so I always go to a bookstore not knowing what I might find, hence why I go to them.

Sure, listening to an audio book could come in handy for when you're busy and can't sit down to read, but I love reading books. Although I'll admit I do get all my books on my Kindle for free from the library. I can't really afford my book habit if I were to buy the hard copies.

I like books but I am not the type to go to the book store and sit on the floor in the aisle reading one.
I swear people only do that for attention.

I have alot of cook books, gardening books, DIY books etc. Then I also have alot of science and philosphy etc for fluff and to fill my book shelf. A filled book shelf is more aesthetic.
These books aren't really practical on audio book, I'm not going to listen to andaudio book to help me bake a buttermilk pecan pie or build a deck in my backyard. I need ingrediants lists, measurements, pictures, diagrams etc.
