Kids raised by a single good parent might be better off than being raised by two parents if one of them is a bad one.

Ever watch the Superman movie? That fooker wouldve gone't around pillaging and raping white booty as much as he wanted but luckily that white fookr was raised by a two parent household(and they arn't even his biological parents!). Thank goodness.

Weak father is the main curse.
The jury is not really out on any of this. Non-biological 'parents' do not have instincts of responsibility to side with other children and most often sabotage them.
Biological parents are not automatically saints but at least have hope.
