You realise if water is below freezing temp it, well, freezes right?
So the titanic would of bin sliding like an ice skate on a frozen lake which didnt happen.
Thus water must of bin more then worm enough to swim in, idiot

What about water based lube? I gotta figure most of the ph aggots on this site would have suitcases full of the stuff aboard a long cruise across the Atlantic.

I think as a man, your best chance was jumping early and swimming out a little towards where the lifeboats were directed and then hitch a ride.

If they try to turn me down fuk them they're a bunch of women with one or two crew men rowing. I'd fight my way on or bring em down with me

Everybody should have packed tightly in a big group like penguins do in cold water

The water in the center of the group will be warm from all the bodies, and you rotate people from the outside with people in the inside when they get cold

The water is only warm if you piss in it, and only for a moment.

I've pissed in my wetsuit more times than I can count for a brief moment of comfort.

They could have also just drank all the water. There were thousands of people on the boat, if they were all thirsty enough they could make something happen

Strategy 1:

Observe the lifeboat guards, lie about their standards like the guy who stole the baby in the film.

Strategy 2:

Construct my best alternative to a lifeboat to stay on, and try to join a lifeboat after being in the water

Now imagine a ship such as the Titanic with a sail speed of 70mph, if that were to hit an ice patch it would have skidded, probably done a 90 degree spin at minimum, then rolled over and would have been crushed in the process.
There was no evidence of that happening, our best models suggest it hit an iceberg (basically an ice cube in a warm body of water due to a warming climate change) and most people died because they couldn't swim. Survivors have gone on record stating the water temperature being too hot in fact, largely due to the titanics boilers basically super heating that body of water to almost boiling levels in some places. The hyperthermia theory is therefore debunked.
