Being able to laugh at things and ourselves, just generally not taking it all too seriously has always been central to Brit culture and it is sad it is being eroded. I'm glad we have comedians like him that refuse to avoid subjects for fear of the slings and arrows of the woke. He is well liked here for things likeAfter Life. He doesn't deliberately court controversy in bad faith. I really hope many of the daft reactions are from across the pond and not here.

Stuff like this is a real problem. NPCs on twitter will just pick this up and parrot whatever is tweeted without actually watching this themsleves with an unbiased mind. It is too much work I guess, easier to gobble up Joe Rogan = antivax, Jordan Peterson = transphobe and parrot it.
