If you are looking to speculate on silver you might consider following some of the junior silver miners, since their valuations can get overly punished during a recession, but tend to initially rip on a fed pivot.

Same thing with Paladium miners...trading way off their highs right now and will probably be headed even lower if GDP numbers start to roll in lower over the next year.

Also, you can buy silver in a tradable fund that will still allow you to take physical possession if it if you ever decide to (Sprott funds).

I believe that’s the case. I was looking at one of the precious metal online dealers and saw a Morgan silver dollar that looked like it was new coin. I was surprised.

OP just look through SD Bullion, JM Bullion, and Apmex for deals. There are some other solid sites but I've had zero issues with the 3 I mentioned.

I personally stick with silver and gold. I thought about getting into platnium and palladium, but they're only industrial use and aren't accepted currency like silver and gold.

I think silver has the biggest upside, but it is also the most manipulated.

Up to you I guess.

I just toyed with three dealers to calculate the cost of 140 Perth Mint Kangaroos and it's 260 plus dollars just for taxes. Screw that. I'll just not buy any metals at this point. Imagine paying the government money for precious metals to be purchased and then paying them when you sell it. I'd rather eat my arm off than pay taxes on that. I was looking to buy about $3500 worth.

Yep, I just rerouted it to my dad in Florida and boom, no taxes. Thanks, Mississippi, for making it more expensive for no reason. I'm going to talk to my dad and tell him the plan.

I wouldn't bet on it. There are already a chit ton of real deal vintage 100+ yr old Morgans already out there. Many are already in Mint Shape since so many were hoarded and never went thru circulation. Go to any coin shop or show and you'll see showcases filled with them.

That new chit will likely end up on QVC or those other rip-off coin outlets.

I might buy some too. I want to start buying more physical assets such as good quality tools, guns, ammo etc. Real assets are the way to go.

I just pulled the trigger on 60 Austrian Philharmonic 1 oz silver coins for $1500. I wanted to spend around $3500 but figured it would be best to make sure it comes in. I'm fine with the smaller amount.

I used monumentmetals.com. They only charged like $3.70 cents over spot or something, which is super reasonable. The same coin on Apmex was 5.99 over spot. It saved me $130 or so. And the best news of all, monument metals didn't charge me taxes or shipping (which most won't charge shipping if it's an order over a certain amount).

Dazzit mane. Gonna do this every year, at least once. I don't trust the stock market long term.

I had a bunch of American Eagles I got at $17 and sold them for $30 a few months back.

Check the US Mint site, if you have never bought from them before, sometimes they have some really good 1st time buyer deals. If you find one, sign up all your friends and family and pay them cash for it. Load up!!!
