You would die of oxygen toxicity just after 60 meters without special equipment. Normal air at 21% oxygen becomes toxic under pressure. You need to carry a mix with lower % oxygen, which would be hypoxic at the surface.

Being hunted and killed by a predator would be the worst way to go. Bear, shark, cat, croc...same result really. A horrible and painful death.

Doesn't really matter. Pressure won't kill you. The human body is mostly water and solid bone. As long as you can breathe a proper mixture of gas at the correct pressure, you could survive at the bottom of the ocean.

Problems arise because you'll run out of air supply, or just freeze to death eventually, even with the proper equipment.

Oxygen toxicity isn't a problem unless you're diving pure oxygen. Maybe you're thinking about nitrogen narcosis.

Also...the human body cannot survive at any depth, regardless of the type of air you're breathing.

Even having cancer is terrifying. Slowly withering away, being in pain and discomfort for a long period of time before your body gives out. Slow and painful seems worse then something horrific but fast.

The boats torture by far

Strap you down on a boat in the middle of a lake. Feed you milk and honey until you chit and vomit all over yourself. Bugs start swarming and eat you alive. One account of this taking place it took the guy like 2 weeks to die and the bugs ate him down to the bones and he was still conscious.

Also read about some girl that was in the catacombs of Odessa with her friends. They ditched her down there as a prank. Her skeleton was found years later. She had no flashlight or anything just wondering in the complete darkness until death.

At an Fio2 greater than 160 kPa acute oxygen toxicity can occur within minutes causing convulsions with little or no warning. A convulsion underwater is usually fatal. The higher the Fio2 the greater the risk. Breathing air containing 21% oxygen risks acute oxygen toxicity at depths greater than 66 m; breathing 100% oxygen there is a risk of convulsion at only 6 m.
