We deserve our eventual defeat.
Germans were so dead set on "best" engineering that took too much time and ended up getting zerg rushed by Russian's who just pumped out good enough tanks. America was somewhere in between. Above Russia by far, but not quite German level of engineering.

Sherman def helped win the war, but it was absolutely outclassed by almost all German counterparts. America nailed the P51 though. That was basically 10/10 for the time.
