Hernia. Had my intestines spilling into my ball sack. Dead fukin srs. My ball sack swelled up to the size of a 12oz soda can on the right side, and the intestine got incarcerated .... Which means there was no circulation flowing to it. 9.9/10 pain levels. Needed emergency surgery.
I have not done any heaving lifting since..... I used to deadlift 485, so moving away from that type of lifting was difficult. But you find replacement goals if you are a physically active person by nature.

-Was deadlifting with wrong form and working a very physical job
-On top of that ppl at work would take pain pills to get more done and I was taking some as well which masked a lot of the soreness
Basically overworked the living fuk outta my back, the pain came outta nowhere

Not a "serious" injury in terms of life threatening, but the most gruesome was when I was wrestling in middle school and a kid took me down in a headlock and my lower lip was stuck in my mouth and my bottom teeth cut clear through my face between my lip and chin. There was blood everywhere and it required 30+ stitches at the hospital to repair.

Got kicked out of a karate tournament
When I say kicked out I mean literally kicked out
Not βjogaiβ because I didnβt voluntarily step out of the mat
Like literally caught a kekomi to the ribs and launched out of the mat and couldnβt get up
Lmao

Last summer I fell off my electric skateboard going about 25mph.
Broke two ribs, sucked horribly but healed up just fine, was hard to breath and move for weeks, couldn't even bend over to wipe my own butt without huge pain.
Broke/fractured both of my wrists. Right wrist needed surgery to remove part of the bone that the tendon was rubbing. Surgery was quick and ez but recovery sucked and I had to do a ton of physical therapy and neither of my wrists/hands are ever gunna be 100 percent again, I'm in my mid 30s so I pretty much have to live with it now.
I was out of work for like 8-9 months or so.
The worst part is that I'm not even the one who actually fell, I was following someone too closely and he fell and so I bailed. The guy who actually fell had some road rash and that was it.

Iβve had a few things like, a few broken bones, and a lower back injury, and Iβve eaten chit when crashing a dirt bike, but nothing compared to my c-section. That by far has been the most pain I have ever been in my life. To make matters worse, when they were doing it, my epidural didnβt take on one side. So I could feel her cutting me open and finally had to ask her to stop. So they gave me some shots in the area to numb it. But I could still feel it. I also felt when she was stitching that side up. Then when I was sent home after a few days, the pharmacy couldnβt read her writing for the pain medication prescription. I called in the after hours line and the first person said that they donβt contact the doctor for that. That βpeople call In because theyβre adopted to pain pillsβ. I about died. I was in so much pain. I called back and got someone else who said that person would be reported and they didnβt just call the doctor on call, they called my doctor at her home. She drove down to my pharmacy next day to deliver a new prescription. Worst weekend if my life. Iβll take broken anything, lower back pain, migraines, anything over that any day.

Almost fully torn ACL.
Was several smaller tears starting with a bjj heel hook, and the final day skiing had one slide out stop on ice, and a couple of torqued landings that finished the job.
5months post surgery atm. Still a lot of pain with leg extensions making it hard to rebuild quad where I took tendon. But finally ran 2 miles two days ago at a 19min pace, which while slow AF had me stoked to be making progress.
Although this might fully heal, my herniated disc will always be there.

actually im trying to decide between:
herniated disc, kidney stone, or fully torn acl.
all 3 are god awful. herniated disc i couldnt walk, sit, stand or do anything. kidney stone was easily the most painful one.. fully torn acl the recovery for it sucked.
maybe its the kidney stone.

No tears but plenty of sprains and my worst injury was a leg fracture.

pulling my hamstring in the middle of my sprint, felt like when you snap a carrot in half it sounded like that occurred in my leg. I've never hit the brakes that hard to stop and the worst part was it was my clutch leg so I was money shifting into first to 2nd gear because the pain was that unbearable I couldn't push the clutch in. The pain was very shape for the first 2-3 weeks, after about a month with some real deep stretching I started to feel okay but I'd say after 2 months I felt confident to at least do a solid endurance run

Two months ago I either fully or partially ruptured my left Achilles. Just by fukin normal running too.
Not sure which cuz I don't want to spend the money to get an MRI done just to have the doc tell me to stay off it. Thinking partially cuz I can still move my toes and put very little pressure on them.
I know you can get surgery for it, but from the research I've found it essentially heals in the same time frame with or without surgery.
I can walk on my heel just fine like a retard, but can't actually take a step.
Very weird feeling telling your body to move and it not listen.

Never had any MAJOR injuries, thankfully. Never really been out of commission longer than a month or so. But I've had a few minor-medium injuries:
-several hammy and calf strains/pulls
-used to have a cht back in my late 20s before I started getting active again, spasms and pulls almost constantly
-slight meniscus tear that I had cleaned up, wasn't severe just a pain in the ass
-broke orbital floor in rugby (orbital floor is the paper thin "trap door" bone that holds your eye up), luckily that healed w/o my eyes being all wonky
-bruised ribs from rugby...this was the strangest sensation ever, felt like when I laid flat on my back that one rib would shift under the other...wasn't painful just an odd feeling

Worst was a brown recluse spider bite when I was ~13
Was on my shin but rotted away a ton of my tibialis muscle
Started as like a big pimple on my shin but for some young dumb reason didnt bring it up to my parents until after like 3 days I had a fever and nausea and was like "oh yea I have this giant boil on my leg too"
Went to ER and took em awhile to determine it was a spider bite
Once they did tho they immediately gave me a ton of local anesthesia and took essentially a miniature ice cream scooper and began to remove the entire infected area. Just shoveled out the muscle and tissue around my shin bone
Packed the hole with medicated gauze that had to be changed out daily all the while praying it didn't spread to the bone and didn't get infected either
For a month or so could have easily rolled a ping pong ball around inside the wound. Horrid smell when unbandaged as well
Full recovery tho, 25+ years later its pretty much unnoticeable unless I point it out on my leg

Bad shoulder injury from football led to major reconstruction was not cool...took a long time to rehab that, but did end up playing 2 more years of varsity HS and was a captain...still benched 305 after that recovery.
Fast forward to 30's...herniated l5 s1, year of sciatica. Did it again 10 years later. Each time a good 6 mo->year of recocery. Don't recommend going all the way to snap city. That is definitely a thing.
Now, use ssb box squats, trap bar, and bench with bench blockz hoping to avoid injury and promote longevity.

Not sure. Inguinal hernias, herniated disk, cracked rib, partially torn acl, torn hamstring.
None of those compare to the worst 'knife in the belly' pains of IBS. Sometimes, I'm not aware how bad my injuries are.

When I was 19 I started experiencing horrible back pains. Sucked because I was about to be playing college sports. I kept going to the doctor and they kept giving me pain meds but it was getting worse. Then the pain moved to my groin area. The worst part is whatever it was caused my genitals to shrivel with the pain and I kept having to go to doctors and have nurses see my junk not at itβs best. I then told a doctor I canβt even walk and Iβm about to kill my self and they sent me in for emergency surgery and it was scarred tissue somehow in my kidneys. It was horrible

I use to ski when I was a kid, was on a racing team out of Seattle. Anyhow, executed a jet turn off a mogul on Good Friday, unfortunately it was a patch of mud so I went flying and crashed through a snow fence and my leg (by now broken) hit a chair lift pole breaking my foot and ankle. So 13 place spiral fracture of the tibula, 4 place compound of the fibula, broken ankle, broken foot. Ski binding didn't release. Damaged growth plates left my leg an inch and a bit shorter than the other one (late 60's)
Then in HS, MCL issues on left knee, torn ACL right knee, end of football career. Collar bone, left ankle, and lots of fingers playing hockey.

Broken tibia & fibula in high school probably since that required surgery for a rod and 3 screws, a cast, then 2 years later another surgery to remove the rod and screws... but I feel like my 3 hernia repairs this year was worse.
Dealt with an umbilical hernia for the past 10 years, caused probably by sports and lifting, gave me an outie belly button but no distress. Then recently in my lower hip felt like I always had pulled something or like when your cellphone is driving into your hip. Went and got a CT scan and found I had an inguinal hernia on both sides as well. Mesh to repair the lowers, suture for the umbilical, and months of recovery. Still feel uncomfortable at times but I have a belly button again!

I've played soccer through college, been through intense training and excessive overtraining, and have then turned to strength training for years doing tons of crazy chit.
I have never had a serious injury in my life. No broken bones. Never been to the hospital.
Worst injuries:
-Torn upper quad. Not bad and still played on it. Didn't know I tore anything. Could still run and do everything fine besides pass or shoot a ball on that foot. Still have the muscle rolled up today.
-Hip issue. Possible tear in the labrum. Was out for 2 months.
-Just having scoliosis.
-Some sprained ankles and a dislocated big toe I popped back in when I was 12. Was out for a week.
-Patellar tendonosis. Kind of killed my soccer career at the end. It's gone now but couldn't shake it for 2 years.
That's about it. I'm very lucky.

-Patellar tendonosis. Kind of killed my soccer career at the end. It's gone now but couldn't shake it for 2 years.
That's about it. I'm very lucky.
