OP you sound low test and nobody invites you to parties. Imagine taking Top Gun so seriously...it was a great 'bro movie' banking on the original's nostalgia without compromising on the cuck grooming Hollywood been putting out.

I was going to guess it was your age, but you're 33. I remember watching the original's VHS so many times pre-teen. I watched on iMax and visuals with the sounds rumble my balls with that BASE, what it Didn't do is rustled my jimmies to come to cry about it online like a low test ****g0t.

I also saw it yesterday and it was awesome

however I do understand what your gripes are with it, I also noticed some but I didn't let it ruin the experience

- yes it's cheesy, so was the original
- the propaganda is there, but that is something you absolutely should've known before watching lmfao
- "the mission" was retarded when you really think about it, but on the other hand it was really simple and straightforward which was refreshing to see since a lot of modern movies seem to make a sport out of making the plot as convoluted and nonsensical as possible
- when watching the movie I pictured Maverick as a late 40's something and not as a grandpa, it helps to believe it lol

the air combat scenes and minimal CGI alone make this stand out so much over any action movie in a very, very long time

It was hilarious and like doesn't take itself seriously, it's on purpose way over the top noir/comedy/action movie.

I loved the new Top Gun, it was free of political bs and aimed simply to entertain. The movie doesn't try to be smarter than it is like every other film today, the plot is basic and doesn't invite the viewer to poke holes in the story. It honestly feels like what action movies used to be, just easy to watch and entertaining flicks that didn't need you to follow the plot.

Way overrated. Millennial’s just like all the re-con movies like Halloween, Elvis(Which was a terrible movie by the way) etc. This movie was made for millennials period. A 62 yr old shrimp playing volleyball. GTFOH. Plus the music was terrible during the volleyball game. Never heard of that crap music. It’s basically the same script as Top Gun with a different mission.

OP you should stick to marvel movies mang
The "borrowed" a lot of Real planes and pilots to shoot it. So lots of cool scenes with real planes ill give them that.

But the dogfights sucked, anything related to irl military aviation sucked. Nothing made sense and was unrealistic as fuk. Random dcs dogfights on YouTube are more entertaining lmao.

Also lol @ them celebrating starting a nuclear war with Russia/Irán.

Iconic song

Watched the first one when I was 12. Thought it was cool but it didn't leave a strong impression. Tried rewatching it a couple weeks ago and couldnt get pass the cringe wall. In general Tom Cruise makes me cringe, vanilla sky is his only movie I can tolerate, and eyes Wide shut too.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Same. My wife and I started watching it a few weeks ago and had to turn it off after 30-40 minutes. COULD NOT FINISH IT. Cheesy dialogue. Bad acting. Bad plot. Bad everything.

A few friends of mine saw it and loved it and it really made me question their sanity and view of reality if they thought that was a good movie.

This is a Military Recruitment Movie that glorifies raw unfiltered EGO and narcissism. The first movie was a literal recruiting film that saw sign-ups increase over 1000% after the release
