Most sound like crap. More maintenance. And I don't think they torque is there like a v8.

Hardly anything mogs the v8. Maybe it's the sound and torque, idk. But I'd choose a V8 over every other engine made.

Maybe if you are talking about a NA V6. Otherwise, take a look at the tq / hp curves of TTV6's compared to V8's. TTV6's produce way more torque, earlier, and across a much broader RPM range.

v6 is the embodiment of getting lazy at the end. if you are going to the trouble of doubling near every component be designing a V block engine, you might aswell make it an 8.

Depends on the V8 setup. It's the exact same thing with 2 extra cylinders and likely more cubes. There's no replacement for displacement.

V6s are not internally balanced.

Although in fairness it’s a cost cutting measure. So you can fit a larger motor in an engine bay designed for an inline 4 (eg camry)
