curious on how you all see this scenario. pick one for my FLX. half-point.

Chase Edmonds @ BAL
Miles Sanders v MIN
Rashaad Penny @ SF
Jeff Wilson v SEA

i honestly like Wilson a lot. Miles looked good last week. Chase gets the catches and will be busier in a more competitive game than last week. Penny looked explosive but I'm worried Seattle is going to stink.
I would consider Edmonds a definite no. He's not a bad flex play in general, but at Baltimore is a really tough place to play. Many an offense goes there to die. Sanders, Penny, and Wilson are almost a three way coin flip. If it were me, I'd choose Sanders. He looked really good last week, and ran with a lot of power, too, so that should keep Boston Scott on the bench. Gainwell will get change of pace usage, but Sanders should be a clear cut #1 in that offense. Minny stifled GB last week in total, but Dillon and Jones did make some hay on the ground regardless. The crowd in Philly is going to be completely amped for the home opener, too. If you could guarantee that Wilson will stay healthy for the whole game, I might use him instead, but some of his stints as a starter in the past have lasted less than a single full game.

Taysom Hill played 16 snaps and broke off a 50 yard run out of the wildcat. That's not something I would count on. He's not a bad bench stash because he could end up with multiple QB series in your TE spot if Jameis gets hurt, but I wouldn't trust playing him with such little usage.

Interesting. I agree Miles/Penny/Wilson are all close and other sites basically rank all these dudes next to eachother.

My issue with Miles is, of all listed he has the most competition for carries. His QB also runs it the most of the group. I do like that he's home and on Monday night.

Who to start? Have 2 flex spots

CEH, Henderson, Breece Hall, Julio

Leaning CEH and Henderson. Hall I started last week but Carter seems to be the guy right now. Julio could do some damage with Godwin out. Was a nice waiver pickup as insurance if Godwin misses any significant time.

Definitely CEH and Henderson for me out of those guys. Hall needs a bigger share of the touches before I would start him. He should get it over the course of the season and the Jets second half schedule is a cakewalk, so he's a great bench stash right now. Julio looked good in limited action Sunday night, but I need to see a little more before I would start him.

Looks like Swift is questionable now so maybe Julio will be tossed in after all. At least I have some good options. Def regret taking hall so early though.

Swift? You mean Godwin? It looks like both Godwin and Evans are limited in practice this week. If they are both out somehow, Julio is a must start.

JK Dobbins is getting closer. He's another guy who I'll need to see produce on the field before I start him, but I draft-and-stashed him near the end of the draft last year so I could keep him for an 11th in my money league, so he could end up being a huge bonus later in the year (and an 8th round keeper for next year if he does reclaim the RB1 role in Bal).

Julio & Godwin were DNP and Evans, Gage, & Fournette limited. They are either really, really banged up or everyone was given a veteran day off.

Likely day off except Godwin who probably won't be playing for a few weeks. They definitely rushed him back too soon.

Swift was questionable so I moved CEH to my rb spot. If swift is indeed out I can just put in Julio for him.

I don't think Swift is going to miss this week, and obviously, he's a must play if he's in. Regardless, I really wouldn't trust Julio quite yet, unless both Godwin and Evans are out and he's not so that he's actually the #1 by default. Only in that case would I think he'd be certain enough to get volume that I'd want him playing in fantasy.

One thing about Akers is that he is a great contrarian DFS play this week. McVay said repeatedly this week that he wants Akers to be better ("as good as we know he can be" or some coach speak like that) and still considers him a starting caliber back. Right now, seeing how he played 10 snaps and had 0 points last week, he is basically toxic to fantasy, but McVay is one of the best coaches around, so there is no saying he didn't just use week 1 as motivation and will give Akers at least a 50-50 split or more this week, assuming he's healthy. It's obviously not likely and you shouldn't start him in yearly long lineups, but unlikely big games from guys who are currently either fantasy toxic or just completely off everyone's radar is exactly what contrarian DFS plays are all about.

Irv Smith, too. O'Connell said Smith's 2 target, 0 catch game was by design and that he will be in the game plan at some point this season. That sounds exactly like a coach trying to set up Smith for a big game this week when the other team is not looking for it.

Of course he’s a must play. But he missed practice for a second day in a row so that doesn’t make me feel too good about his availability.

Yeah, Godwin (who is pretty much out for sure), Evans, and Julio were all DNP again. Man, TB suddenly has a rash of injuries they really don't need.

Gotta replace Elijah Mitchell in my flex. .5 PPR, .2 points per carry.

James Robinson, Melvin Gordon, Kenyon Drake or Courtland Sutton?

So much for Mooney and Kmet being target hogs. Even if you have Monty, Fields will just vulture him since running is all he can do. Whole offense is a bust.

Need Miles Sanders to outscore Bass (Buffalo's Kicker) tonight to win in one league, and need King Henry to score 20 to win in another.

I can get 3 out of 4 this week (after 4 for 4 last week) if my Monday players jut hit their expected numbers, although in one game I'm currently down by 60, but with Jefferson, Hurts, Sanders, Smith, and the PHI DST playing tonight.

Interesting looking back on this. Miami had 550 yards of offense and Edmonds got jack chit, scoring fewer fantasy points than someone named River Cracraft. Definitely not what I expected, although in one league, I made the managerial decision of the week at the last minute benching Trey Lance for Tua on a hunch (got me +45 points…). Wilson did OK, better in IRL football since he didn't get in the end zone, but OK nonetheless. Sanders is coming up tonight with an expected score pretty close to what Wilson actually did.

Well, it remains to be seen how Miles does before declaring victory in this one. I have him going in one league and playing against him in another (both in games that are still undecided), so I'm a little torn. Edmonds looks like he's probably unstartable until Mostert gets hurt, which thankfully should happen before bye weeks start.

Ok looks like gabe Davis isn’t playing. Would you guys feel better about crowder or Phillips as a sub in? Losing by 2.2 points? Opponent has G. Joseph tonight.

I originally grabbed crowder but now I’m thinking Phillips (if he plays) might be the better option because game script will favor him. There’s also Robert woods but he only had two targets last week.

Idk wtf to do..PPR league

i'd go with the established guy and take Robby Woods.

titans will need to keep up tonight. these two teams played a hot competitive game last year (also on MNF). they paid woods. they will use him.

I had the high score of the week which gets me some money until that pick at the end of the GB game. He had their D which put him just ahead of me.

Sigh. At least I got the W.
