That dude is a natural. Maybe not built to learn the arts but simply a natty force to be reckoned with. For his size, the amount of power and speed that he maintained and showed for more than a minute straight is impressive, holding off a bunch of astrounauts by himself, picking them up and slamming them while taking hits from all directions and not getting gassed out while staying on his feet.
Damn thats a beast right there. My only critic of him is that he didnt put down the 2 hyenas first. He had so many chances to take them out but he decided to playfully throw them off. IMO, importance…
1. Awareness; Distance/escape plan, ready position, understanding who is a threat and early.
2. Verbal Judo
3. Training/experience (any training is better than no training. This means that you will at least react in a manner not completely unpredictable)
a) Judo
b)Boxing/kickboxing
c)MMA
d)BJJ
f) Anything that teaches you confidence, how to throw a basic punch, and how to defend yourself from punches. (Not all martial arts are created equally in this regard)
4. Firearm (coupled with number 2 and 3!!)
Japan has done extensive testing with different forms, and found that judo was by far the easiest to teach, a great equalizer, focuses on staying on one’s feet, and can be trained at lethal levels for better application in the real world.
What do our police use? is it similar?
