Buying a house in March so paused on the investing. Should have enough for the house end of January (maybe mid Jan) so will pick back up with investing each paycheck at that point. Market isn't really gonna go up before then anyway is my guess.
If you've been investing since May you're down like 4-5% anyway. And if you've been investing since before then you're down even further.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

what started as plaintext (******** status updates) slowly turned into more images (snapchat, ig) into videos (tiktoks, reels), and the next thing will be sharing via AR
the jre podcast with cuckerberg was actually pretty interesting and betting on meta doesn't seem too bad considering how low it is now

Also, we have all these doomsters who say it's all gonna blow up and the dollar will be worthless. In which case why not throw it into the market and take a chance?

I'd probably start by looking into gas futures, though the crisis (if it materializes) is so long in coming you have to assume it's de-facto priced in already. Maybe oil futures, if you believe demand for kerosene/heating oil will also increase. Again though, got to assume that's already mostly priced in.
Could go direct to the source, as it were, and invest in NRT or something similar.

With that said I feel like we haven't hit any kind of a bottom yet. Thus I've paused my DCA to stockpile cash.
