I agree actually. I haven't read the thread, but I do know the stuff seems to get a fair bit of hate. I personally love it.

This is the best I've ever tasted but Tabasco is definitely up there for me.

I live in Louisiana and have visited the Avery island operation several times, it’s a nice stop on day trips. Started growing my own Tabasco peppers and making my own sauce, chit is legit.

Cholula is the best.

Cholula actually tastes like stewed down peppers and spices. Tabasco is vinegar and some fake bullchit to make it "spicy"

Steve-O's hot sauce is one of the best I've ever had [ded srs]

Expensive but it's really good don't let the name fool you

other than that Lousiana, Aardvark, or El Yucateco green

I tried that Aardvark before after seeing all of the rave reviews it gets online and...it didn't live up to the hype at all for me personally. I really didn't get it. It was like In n Out Burger level of overrated.

Aardvark is top tier

Really need a bunch of different hot sauces for different things, I use Tabasco's vinegary flavor mainly for an acidic +spicy kick in soups
