The only advantage I can think of for LA is the fresh Pacific air, and if you're not within a mile of the beach or maybe even half a mile of it, oh well.

NYC has superior public infrastructure so you have more of a choice as to where you want to live, regardless of where you work. Getting around is easier.

Oh yeah, the weather. I like variety in weather. NYC has variety and 4 seasons. LA does not.

I'm not much of a big city person. More like a village idiot. But if I had to choose, I'd choose NYC.

LA without a doubt. Can live outside the city in a decent place, hit up the beach, go hiking, lift, drink some nice beers, take road trips. NY is like living in a veritable garbage dump.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*
