I hate woke disney with a passion and will never ever visit again but I'm not gonna ruin the fun of some innocent happy kids and want them to have a good time.

OP the guardians of the galaxy ride is great. Salt and straw has great ice cream in downtown Disney but they're woke af too.

I had to drive through LA a year ago and was mind=blown at how ridiculous the homeless situation was.... Luckily the gyms were closed because of the flu.

Exactly why we are planning our trip next year to Disneyland as opposed to world- the newness of the experience will override any feelings of “what’s been taken away from us”

Some good advice itt. If you can swing it I like the Grand Californian because it's right next to California Adventure - easy to go back and forth. You can enter the hotel from California Adventure. I'd get two connecting rooms.

For a beach nearby, Huntington Beach might be a good choice:
