Stopped after hearing about how some brands had heavy metals in them. Try to get macros from real food now.

Definitely seems like it always helped with recovery though.

Just get NOW whey isolate powder on Amazon. Still $50 per 5 lbs just like a decade ago. No artificial anything. Mix with something other than water, or it’s too flat and plain.

I know some dopes who actually eat 1.5g per pound of body weight like that won't destroy their kidneys or anything.

Yes, Syntha 6 or muscle milk rtd. I am terrible about eating enough calories. I can junk food and add a shake to keep my macros right and hit calories. Also like a post workout shake too, I feel like it helps with recovery time.

it has been a few years so i decided to run an experiment on myself LAST MONTH using the cheapest "house brand" isolate at a local shop that sells vitamins.
i mixed vanilla with apple cinnamon(apple jack flavor) and drink 2 scoops 2 times per day( morning and locker room post workout).
i feel better, fuller, and see more definition with the same diet after 2 weeks of experimentation.
it is so cheap($25) that i was willing to test it again.

You're also forgetting that whey protein isolate is good prepper food. It lasts for 3+ years if you store it in a cool dry place.

And you want to get whey protein isolate itself. Not some protein blend chit that is mostly whey protein concentrate.
