Seems to me we’re living in Trumps mess. Bidens mess will hit us in a few years. Trump got to take credit for Obama’s awesome economic upswing.
No sitting President impacts the economy to any large extent. It takes years for the fallout.
But, I know y’all know this.

Price cuts will grind on slowly, because RE is such an illiquid market, but we're not looking at a 5%-10% RE correction, we are looking at a 30%-50% crash unless the Fed pivots.

Trump printed money during covid. Should have stopped in the fall of 2020 but didn't because of elections.
BUT, biden should have stopped the money printing as soon as he got in office - instead he put his gas down on the pedal. This time last year they lied to us and told us inflation is not real and is transitory, and they continued to print money. They finally stopped QE and are no backpedaling hard to deal with runaway inflation.
What is hilarious is ppl are freaking out over the y/y inflation. If news outlets were to talk about inflation measured against 2 years back, then LOL ppl would understand how fukked this is.
Cliffs:
- yes trump has some culpability here
- but Biden really fukked us

Take a $1.5m shthole in NYC. Take off 8%. Wow, now it's only $1.38m. What a deal!
Fuk, take 20% off. Is it affordable now?
