Landlords don’t give a **** in San Diego dude and no ones going to help you if your landlord illegally changes locks.
The unit will be occupied just a day later no matter what , trust me.
I Don’t give a **** what legal contract you signed. landlords aren’t supposed to increase the rent more than 10% but they either do it anyway and threaten eviction or just kick you out and claim “renovations” then re-list for 1200$+ more a month.
The great court of San Diego will hear your case in about 90-150 business days after filing a claim lmao. Keep deluding yourself into thinking tenants have any real protections that are enforced just ****ing lol.

How does someone even do that? He can’t make you take it.
What if you never left the place?
What if you ran from whoever he had trying to deliver it to you?
What if you were traveling for a year? You just can’t lose the apartment cause you’re in another country?
Heck in every state I know about you can be served notice of multi-million dollar lawsuits just by MAILING it to someone.

They will file an eviction, you will stop paying rent, then they will sue you for unpaid rents, you will lose, have a judgment on your credit report, and they will file a garnishment of your wages.

However, OP is acting like that notice has to be delivered personally to his hand (and I guess he has to take it too) in order to be given said notice. That’s where he is wrong. All the landlord has to do is certify mail it to him and probably post it on his door and that’s notice.

What these rentcuck threads also never bring up is 9/10 times as the owner all you have to do is tell the local PD they're trespassing & they will be removed from the premises
Seen it a hundred times; the rentcuck's chit just gets thrown out in the lawn
If you don't have ID showing the residence as your permanent address you will be asked to leave or get taken to jail
As a rentcuck you effectively have zero rights or say despite funding the landchad's life

You can evict someone as the owner whenever you want, you own the property

That's where notice comes in. In my state, and all the ones I'm aware of, you have to give notice to the tenant that's behind so they have a chance to cure. Hence my example of not coming home to find your sht on the street because there was a typo on the rent check. An example you took exception to.
Good thing you're first words to me weren't an insult - otherwise you might look foolish here.
Yea.
