They don't care about what non-Middle East football fans think. They will have plenty of Arab spectators and fans from Middle East in itself, it won't hurt them a bit. And it's ok, you know at least some Arab country deserves to host a World Cup after all those years of participating in it and they have a huge fan base (who even follow European domestic leagues and international teams closely).

Same like they rewarded Japan and South Korea as co-hosts in 2002 for their dedication to football.

So if beer and sexxxx is all that matters here, don't go. It's not like the World Cup is going to last for a year or something like that. Just watch the football, eat nice food and have some soft drinks....relax for a few days and go back to your country to drink alcohol and flirt with women.

Also, if football stadiums or anything nearby won't sell booze, why not find booze in random hotels on your way back to your room?

at least the next world cup will be here in the states, Might try to go to a game at SoFi if the tickets aren't godly expensive. I've never experienced a soccer game like that and I'm sure its a great atmosphere and the best part? Plenty of beer and girls probably wearing as little as possible

Tickets will be expensive but nothing out of this world. They prevent price gauging second hand sales by having your name on the ticket. At least they did this in Russia in 2018.

So I have no sympathy for FIFA, they knew they were dealing with a corrupt and untrustworthy regime, so can't feign outrage now they have done a turnaround and told FIFA and it's sponsors they will not fulfill what was agreed.

Qatar is not a backward country.

Winters in Qatar are usually pleasant, more like summers in Britain.

All Middle Eastern countries have football as their main sport.

Saying global football should always give more priority to European or Western countries over any Asian or Middle Eastern country is discrimination.

Also Western countries have it easier when it comes to football because they have decades and centuries of history with everything already well developed. Qatar had to build all the facilities from 10% to 100% in order to prepare for the World Cup. At least they did something, now let them do play the event instead of finding flaws like no beer or no sexxxx during a Football World Cup.

is this a deliberate troll or are you serious?

- them having heaps of oil money doesn't have them developed brah, human right not even once lmfao

- idgaf how winter is like there, if you can't organise in summer LIKE IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN gtfo

- who gives a fuk, so does Haiti so we should organise it there next time?

- discimination? now I'm sure you're trolling or genuinly retarded lmfao

the home of football is Europe and South America, you can argue as much as you want but there's no denying that

you can take a side tour to promote the sport like they sort of succesfully did in '94 but this century we've already been in Japan/South Korea, South Africa and Qatar lmfao

it's 350% certain Qatar bribed officials to win the bid, no one in their right mind would've voted for them otherwise

lol so let them spend a few decades to build up their own football identity first and then maybe they can have a shot at hosting the world cup, that's the way it works, you put in the work and then get rewarded not the other way around

just splashing oil money on something to get it instantly takes away any of the authenticity, same with all the cities out there being raised from the desert, none of those cities got any soul to them

To all those complaining, why do you feel so entitled and believe that the world should follow your way?. If you don't like what is happening in Qatar don't come it is as simple as that.
