The World Cup shouldn’t have ever been awarded to Qatar

But the thing is, once you award it to Qatar, what do you really expect to happen? They’re not going to want drunken fans in the stadiums. Same as they don’t want gays. I think that’s wrong, but it’s quite arrogant to think you can go to another country and tell them what to do.

I mean FIFA is stupid for doing this and everyone is paying the price for it, but I dont think its crazy to expect them to accommodate for the event they asked to host

I get why you’re saying, but in reality Muslim countries are what they are and it’s very difficult to get them to change. I think it was ignorant of Fifa to expect Qatar to actually go through with allowing alcohol in stadiums.

It’s pretty funny that they’re allowing those in corporate to purchase alcohol though.
