I live in Hawaii, I've seen the coasts here change within my life time. Many houses on the coasts used to be 100's of yards from the ocean line. Now the water is up to some of these houses.
Drastic change in a relatively short amount of time.

Grahams entire premise is that the humans from the mesolithic era couldnt have built some stone monuments. Why the fuk not? And then his conclusions there is that just because science cant 100% explain exactly how something was built, it must be an ancient advanced society who moved **** with sound.
Its entertainment. Leave it at that lol.

I think in over 400 million years of life on Earth there could have been other types of intelligent beings that made civilizations on Earth.
There is no reason why some creature in all of that time wouldn't need to develop speech and thinking abstract thoughts in order to survive.
In recent times, say 100k years ago, an advanced civilization could have existed.
However, the people in the media now talking about it don't have much proof.
I don't think there's a way to find it either.
Maybe the civilization is two miles under London or NYC city so we will never ever find it.
Humans:
It makes sense that humans would have been able to all the same stuff we could, 100k years ago.
However, I was watching a video on youtube from this cranky honest British guy that made me think.
He generally thinks black people, etc are not smart. He's not mad about it, but just points out all others, except white people, have never done anything in life for the millions of years they have been on Earth.
It's his belief is that modern white people are a hybrid of Neanderthals and African type humans. That doesn't mean black people but the people who supposedly wandered out of Africa.
He believes that both groups were stupid until they mated. So, the human-neanderthal hybrid people were and are freakishly smart.
That's the reason why modern civilization pretty much just started like 10 or 20 thousand years ago. The smart hybrids had to build in number and get to work organizing themselves.
So, it could be that people a 100k years ago were just too stupid to do anything and only about 30 0r 40k years ago did the real humans emerge.
That would also mean the rest of the humans on Earth now are cave people more than humans.

And why couldnt they exactly? Why do you need hundreds of thousands of years to learn move large stones? Anatomically modern humans living in that time werent chimpanzees you know.. you had entire societies using their surplus time to work together for a singular goal of moving stones and this is somehow unbelievable?
I dont dislike graham, i enjoy listening to his stuff as entertainment same as i used to like watching the ancient aliens show.

They have found workers burial sites with lots of artifacts and tools used in construction. Even some papyrus notes dealing with construction.

ironically graham does not doubt at all stonehenge, a structure with even heavier 30 ton stones which were moved by a hunter gatherer society.

Nope
Archaeologists will argue with each other over the use of a clay pot yet for some reason have all decided to ignore what would be the greatest archeological discovery this century? why?

Their technology was advanced in a different way or path than ours currently.
Our current path of technology is almost completely in line with the path of electricity and power. Which eventually leads to computers, batteries, etc etc.
If you believe in aliens/ufo, which at this point i'm pretty sure is actually a thing. Then you have to realize there are far more advanced forms of technology we can't even comprehend.

the artwork on ancient structure is pretty compelling that humans did encounter some form of ET or nonhuman intelligent life. It's very odd that the similarities of the art exist in entirely different locations.

I don't think that's enough to cause an evolutionary shift in brain size and evolve a totally new kind of person.
The Native Americans are Asian people who got to North America about 12,000 years ago. They changed mildly in physical appearance did absolutely nothing to adapt to the climate.
North America is WAY harsher than Europe and it did not change Native Americans at all intellectually.
In addition, I was discussing what a guy on youtube proposed.
It seems to have some merit, maybe the combination of humans and neanderthals created a new smart breed of people.
That has happened with breeds of dogs for instance, so why not humans?

Absolutely. Randall Carlson is a geologists who talks about an apocalyptic event 12000 years ago. If it hit us modern day, there would be nothing left of our civilization besides maybe Mount Rushmore. It don't buy that modern humans were hunter gatherers for 100,000+ years and then we became civilized just 4000 years ago.

I like to think that a highly advanced society was common place, like it is today.
Difference is they went a different route than we did. Sort of lik ethe flintstones where they progressed with stones like we have with electronics and the like.
every bit as advanced in their own way, of course they werent watching tv and computers and such but still highly advanced.
Something happened to the earth and over a thousand years or so those societies died out. Could have been a flood or the like which was most likely related to an ice age or cosmic event.
About the same time lots of large animals dead out like sabre tooth cats and giant ass sloths and the like so something in the food chain had to have broken down for at least 100 or so years if not more and never came back.
Thinking its a food chain related thing again goes back to the weather or atmosphere somehow not being able to support that sort of life.
Man was swept up in the disaster as well. It had to have taken a long slow time too because short term things we would just rebound from. So you have to assume it took like100 years or so which would be plenty of time to basically rewrite history.
We since then have advanced in a different way. Would explain why we cant move giant rocks and they could and the like. Just had a different way of thinking.
Also think international travel was a thing. No reason to think that ships werent travelling the oceans as much then as they seem to have been for years now. You have to think that like 99.9 % of all ships every put to sea have sunk or will sink at some point so of course there is no evidence left.
How much stuff from 1000 years ago is right under our feet here in America? Very little that we know about,. A few supposed indian things but thats it. Now how about 10 or 20k years ago. Practically nothing.

"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
