Anyone believe in advanced ancient civilizations?
Anyone else think humans were very advanced before the ice age and built the pyramids and all those other huge unexplained structures around the world?
then a global mass catastrophe happened at some point and wiped out most of humanity.

The idea that all civilizations before us were dirty savages is childish and arrogant.
I believe they were much more advanced than we are. They made discoveries and advanced society in ways that we never have

No lol.
The archeological records are pretty tight. Cave man -> hunter gathering -> farming -> cities -> bronze -> iron -> gunpowder -> electricity

Maybe not advanced but definitely lost knowledge.
Like when Zimbabwe kicked out all the white farmers, the natives starved because they didn't know how to farm.
Or when colonialists got kicked out of their former colonies and all the infrastructure went to crap because the natives didn't know how to maintain them.

Believing in anything is a waste of time, because even if you are right, it's still based on a belief and not on a knowing of sorts - think about it like this would you let the doctor who knows how to operate and has success 95% of the time on a rare type of surgery or a doctor who is 'believer!' and does it correctly 50% of the time.. even though the doctor who knows is more exclusive and harder to get to.

Uhh... there are tens of thousands of artifacts from ancient civilization eras, going back thousands of years. Why is it that the basic tools and remnants were found but not this "super advanced 4d galactic tech"?
Maybe because it never existed!
Oh but they were so advanced they still couldnt figure out how to move somewhere else and not die.. oops!

Everyone thought Graham Hancock was a loon with his theories but more and more evidence has surfaced to indicate he's been right and is on to something. Just read the cliffs of his 'America Before' book. Scroll down. Tons of evidence to support his theories now. We really don't know **** about life on Earth.

Its incredibly arrogant to think just because we've a few artifacts from a few thousand years ago we should be finding stuff from 100,000 years ago.

We're actually behind in manufacturing technology compared to the Egyptians. Nothing we have built in our times is as precise and nothing we've built in our time will stand the test of time unless it's underground. There's even structures in SA and central America that are just as precise as the blocks cut to build the pyramids, and their design will withstand earthquakes.

No.
Im assuming youre asking this because you watched the netflix series. Its all BS.
There is no proof, and none was given on that show.
If there was an advanced civilization which could move **** with sound (lmao) who taught everyone around the world farming and architecture, then we would find evidence in form of left over materials which they used… we havent.
Its an interesting story, and i did enjoy the show as entertainment, but its just that.. a story. Not meant to be taken as scientific proof, or maybe it is mean to be but definitely shouldnt be lol..

So you mean an advanced race of Aliens (ie demons) engaged with humans prior to the global flood like the Bible and non-canon books like the Book of Enoch state....Yes, Yes I believe that.
The Book of Enoch describes how demons engaged with the earliest humans and taught them things such as metal work, warfare, etc..

Yes. There used to be a lot more people than we think. They evolved out of the food chain and were living perfect, but simple lives. The utopia-effect took over, fertility rates fell and populations collapsed. Same thing is happening now in more developed countries: Japan, SK, Europe, USA, etc, all have fertility rates below replacement level. Populations in developed, higher-IQ nations will collapse while populations in third-world chitholes will continue to explode.
Idiocracy was banned everywhere because it's about a time traveler (kinda) and Mike Judge is an actual time traveler (not srs) and the movie isn't a prediction, it's a spoiler.

That was after the ice age, so 'relatively' recently if you believe Earth is millions of years old.
Similarly built pyramids found all over the world, far far away from Egypt. Indonesia, Micronesia, etc.
I think ancient civilizations built them, and the Egyptians or whoever eventually settled in the same area.

Somewhat advanced, yes. Far from where all the giant glaciers were covering up so much of the land. The mainstream says farming began around 10,000 BC, but there were certainly settlements farming around the world for thousands of years before that. You don't build huge megalith structures if you're just hunter gatherers roaming around. A crazy amount of organized manpower, tools, craftsmanship and planning was needed for structures more than 12,000 yrs old.
New discovery says there was farming in the Middle East 23,000 years ago.
https://www.sciencedaily.com/release...0722144709.htm
Likely over the following 1000-2000 yrs those same people spread their knowledge to far away lands, allowing farming where they were. Keep in mind so much more land back then was above today's sea levels connecting North America to Asia and many current islands were not islands back then. They were attached. So people 23,000 years ago in the fertile crescent spread their knowledge to people in Asia, who then walked across the land bridge to North America generations later. It's pretty easy to believe then that Mesoamericans were farming and building giant structures thousands of years before the previous belief that humans only started farming 12,000 yrs ago. And then the ice sheets melted, causing great floods around the world, and creating many islands where there were none.
There's evidence to believe the Noah's Ark story was the creation of the Black Sea. Other people around the world had their own floods, hence the stories from around the world with similar folklore attached. The Graham Hancock theory that a great seafaring people spread their knowledge across the world isn't necessary. If people were farming 23,000 years ago then a couple thousand years of simply people moving around the world would have spread the agricultural and megalith building knowledge.

A lot of civilizations destroyed including what the legend of Atlantis is based off of.
Agree that humans had to be more than simple hunter gatherers to build such structures that still live on today.

The Egyptian pyramids are "new" compared to pyramids built long before them. A few thousand years of that knowledge being around, the Egyptians perfected it compared to the people before them in lands halfway across the world.
Side note: I get a kick out of knowing beer was a form of currency in Ancient Egypt, and how a lot of laborers were paid back then. It was weak, probably just 2-3% alcohol and flat, more appropriate to call it mead. But you'll need to drink a lot of that stuff when you are doing back breaking labor every day. Drink a gallon of even weak beer and you'll get a buzz. Without beer/mead those pyramids wouldn't have been built, and most of present day civilization wouldn't exist. We'd still be in the Bronze Age.

Lol, now clowns since 2012ish are just focused on race, fat people, wages, wars, gayism etc. Just imagine how advanced we'd be if the retards of today were focused and didn't have these petty unnecessary ridiculous issues holding us back. Too many distractions. Everyone would have 6 packs, nobody would have retarded personal issues since we'd be born to be productive and not whine at gluten content/social media etc. Think of how badass spartans were. We're in 2022 now, just imagine what the year 2030 will be like (even more pathetic as the average male), however technology would thrive at a rate. By the year 2100, maybe a transport system to mars/space outside our solar system? Now think about the year 500000 or whatever cos it'll happen!
We're both advanced and primitive since it's been thousands of years of evolution for humans yet the universe scales in billions of years. Wish I was born in 1985 and dead in 2008 or whatever. Or atleast wish it was the year 3000 or 100000000 where I could ride a spaceship to explore the universe instead of staying cocooned on earth with a bunch of morons.

But as far as civilizations doing math, astronomy and advanced architecture much earlier than previously thought is a very real possibility.
There are a lot of sites around the world that point to this being the case. It doesn’t mean anyone saying it’s possible is saying they had flying cars.
